1. Using Markers again, I printed of an alphabet made up with each letter coming from a different font family. I chose only fonts that had an interesting look to them, something that would be worth tracing the negative space for, to see what sort of shapes would be created.

    I then proceeded to draw out a 3x4 grid leaving 12 squares to place 12 different letterforms. I scaled each chosen letter to different sizes so that I could trace the negative space that the letter leaves in it’s square. When the letter is larger than the square in height or width it always left a more interesting design, having the letter cropped in also made it look more interesting, as this task was about the negative space design rather than the letterform design.
